Well, my wife and I just had a load of barkdust delivered to our house. I get a call from my wife about 10:15 this morning asking me to come home. I asked her why and she proceeded to tell me the the dude delivering the bark, raised his dumptruck bed through part of our roof an gutters. I was like WHAT THE FUCK?! I came home and my house is kinda fucked up. LOL Of course I'm pissed, not because of the damaage necessarily but because when my wife asked him for the company's insurance info he just pointed at the truck and said "there's the number you need to call". He then got in the truck and left.
I get home and the manager of the company shows up and basically tells me "shit happens". I told him I wanted hi insurance info, etc. and I already had one contractor out to estimate the damage. He proceeds to tell me that his insurance requires 3 estimates so it'll be a few days. I said "whatever". I then told him how his employee treated my wife and he basically says "that's odd, our driver doesn't usually act like that". I said "ok, so why is this my problem than"? He didn't have an answer of course. He left so I called his office for thei insurance info and the lady tells me she can't give it out but she'll have the manager call me. I told her that the manager just left my house and stated he didn't have the info.
As it stands right now, he called my wife back but wouldn't give her the company policy number, let alone the name and phone number of his insurance. He claims that he has to call the "main office" for this info.
Anyway, I am just bitching about it because I'm pissed and figured, what the hell I may as well post my anger on the Siccness.
We just bought this house about 2 monthsa ago. LOL Now the exterior will look like shit for a few weeks until this is all settled. I'm just glad my wife wasn't injured by the dumbass driver.
