Pop Star or One-Hit Wonder?

Would you rather be a successful pop star for a couple of years and have some decent selling albums, but ten years later no one remembers the titles of your albums, any of your hit songs, or possibly not even your name.

Or would you rather record one of the best songs ever, release only one album, never be heard from again, but everyone forever remembers your one hit and it is played forever.

An example of the first one- Nelly, P. Diddy, Cash Money (can anybody even mention one of the songs they have recorded, because they have had so many but they all sound the same.

An example of the second one- House of Pain- Jump Around (I still hear that song all the time, especially at sporting events).

Which would you rather be?

Yeah, I'd rather be a one hit wonder and be out of the spotlight quickly but still be able to bang model hoes after I tell them who I am hahaha

I'd be a one hit wonder. Make a song called "Why i busted my nut on her face." Soon I'll re-release that song in a club mix, an urban mix, a ghetto mix, a barrio mix, a post-bicentenial mix, a christmas mix, underground mix, a spanish mix, a spanglish mix, a clean mix, and finally after 30+ years I'd release it again in a retro mix which would practically be the same 'mix' as the original. I would live on the royalties alone.
