I play texas hold em poker online. Holla at me, I can hit you with a bonus of $25 free with your first $50 deposit, we both make money. You can use your $25 free and if you lose it, you can put that money back in your bank account. Get at me if you're serious about playing texas hold em online.

I play poker a lot with my cousins and friends. We play all types of games:

Texas Hold 'Em
Bump Your Neighbor (also known as Screw your Neighbor or Pass the Trash)
Seven Card Stud
Seven Card No-Peek
Follow the Queen (variation of Seven Card Stud)
Baseball (variation of Seven Card Stud)
Five Card Draw
Five Card Stud
Five Card Low-Ball
Indian Poker
Between the Sheets

That's all of the games I can think of that we play. It's fun.

Well, the lowest limits you will probably find will be $2/$4. I went to Reno 2 weeks ago and thats the lowest limits I could find. You can buy in for 20 bucks if you want but you will only be able to afford a few hands. I'd say if you buy in for $60-100 bucks you wont look like a chump.

If you guys are just learning how to play poker from watching it on TV you are in for a long run of losing money. Thats a TOTALLY different game than playing online and at home with friends. I suggest reading up on the game. If you really take the time to become a good player theres lots of money to be made online. I've turned 50 bucks into about $1500 since the beginning of the year playing online poker. BUT I have also been studying the game and reading the whole time. You can ALWAYS improve your game.

I aint trying to play limit. I want to play no limit. I watched limit poker on the travel channel and thast shit is so boring. Ive played a few times with friends but havent played with many people that are real players. I realize that I will probably get my money taken real quick the first few times but I just want to play. what is the smallest buy ins for no limit in vegas? and you have to stay in until there is only one person left right?

It may be hard to find No Limit games. But if you do find one nah you dont have to stay there til you get broke or the last one or whatever. They have No Limit games that are just like Limit games but there is usually a max in chips you can bring to the table. It's keeps people from bringin 1000's and running over the table. You will easily be able to find limit games though. Limit isn't boring and its a lot better to learn playing limit because you can't get busted for your whole stack in one hand.

I just got back from the casino, walked away from a 30 dollar buy in table w/ 150 bux even. The secret to poker sucess is reading the COUNTLESS books written by former champs, also, poker for dummies is a good ass book despite its name...
