Plasmas,LCDs and HD's...anyone got sick TV's?

Im thnk about a Plasma or LCD tv...what can i say,i luv high-end electronic toys...

So ive been doin research and i know there a "myth" goin around that video games will burn out plasmas...well come to find out that the risk isnt as high as people say.If you keep a game on pause for 10 hours straight with the plasma on then yes youre askin for trouble.But if you play normally...youll be fine.And although an LCD will give you longer run time as far as that goes...youll get ghost traces on most LCD's...where as a plasma is CRYSTAL FUCKIN CLEAR.

Also,a few TV's have EPD...which is bascially the same as HD...and half the price...

Anyone got some high-tech shit in thier house/car?

61" HDTV-ready rear-projection DLP TV

Thats what I got. Got XBOX/PS2 hooked up thru component video... its real nice. But I got too many folks over all the time on this since I got it though.

got a InFocus X2 DLP (Digital Light Processor) projector for about a G, then got a 6' screen to show it on,..you can get an image pretty much bigger than any of the large screen tv's depending on how far back you put the projector...image is pretty damn clear especially at night when it's dark, still can see it good in the daytime...considering how much the alternatives are i figured this would be the best way to go for big screen imaging, so far i haven't been disappointed...if i were you i would look into projectors before paying big $$ for the other stuff...oh yeah and there's no problem w/video games, i've been playin GTA san andreas and have to say it's nice with a 6 foot image!...it will even display on a clear wall if you want huge azz images..
