Pittsburgh v. Cleveland

Perhaps the only rivalry more prevalent than the East Coast/West Coast beef of the past is the Steelers/Browns rivalry. I've lived in Pittsburgh my entire life, and let me tell you that a strong hatred for Cleveland is a requirement for all Steelers fans. When you're in Pittsburgh and you see somebody with a Browns jersey, they get stares and often times get made fun of straight to their face. It can get violent.

I don't wanna start any competitions here, but the Steelers might have the most loyal fans in all of the NFL. Jerome Bettis was going to be traded once and he said "i don't care how much they pay me, i will never leave Pittsburgh. These are the best fans in the NFL."

This deep rooted passion serves way for our rivalry with one of the worst sports teams in the history of football.

Anybody else in any other part of the US have rivalries as bad as us?

I live about 30 min south of Cleveland and you're right, the rivalry is definitely the most heated...plus I went to school @ Youngstown State so i was right in tha fuccin middle, thats some shit

I'm as big a Browns fan as there is, and believe me...we hate you too. The rivalry we have has definitely got to be one of, if not the biggest in the NFL. I only wish I was over in Cleveland to be a bigger part of it. Out here in Cali, it's hard to find real passionate Cleveland fans.

And how can you say we are one of the worst teams in the history of football? Doesn't surprise me though...a classless comment from a Squeelers fan.....

Its not hard to recognize that the Steelers are more talented than the Browns right now...

4th year into expansion though, and the Cleveland are getting much better, and even Steelers fans have to recognize that.

The next few years should be great for the rivalry.

neva had key ice, i know ic light is absolute shit that was my point...back on topic, should be a good intense rivalry this year what with only 4 teams now in the division no margin for error

Key Ice is 5.9%. Its cheap as hell and it gets you fucked up. Doesn't taste too bad either. If i can be as unbiased as possible and i wasn't a Steeler fan, i would still have to say that i think the Steelers will take the division. But i can't be unbiased, so its up to you to decide.
