RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Michael Vick has yet to cop a plea deal, but the news keeps getting worse for the Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

Vick posed for a photo with three co-defendants and a pit bull they were about to sponsor in a dogfight in North Carolina four years ago, according to the statement of facts signed by Purnell Peace, one of two alleged cohorts who entered guilty pleas Friday.

who once these guys start talking he's going down hard...this was just from his plea statement this morning, not even an interview yet....bwhahaha

So much for Vick, not knowning, or not being there.

It really does just keep getting worse for him.

How much time you think he's gonna do? Any?
well with plea I would say about 10 months or so...without, I see him getting the full 5 years, and if they add the gambling charges as well it could be closer to 15

I heard the gambling charge could have up to 25 years alone???? WOW

Wow no more breaks for Vick. Hell probly get 1 year and get out early. If he goes unpunished then there will be a lot of problems which he wont. He just made a deal today on his case.

you can't "get out early" on a federal punishment. you take what is served to you

and no deal as been made yet

not true you can be released on good behavior after 85 percent of your sentence is served so on a 1 year sentence he would serve roughly 10 months with good behavior.

who thinks he'll be back in the NFL if he serves under a year?
im sure thats being worked out right now based on these plea deals that are supposedly being negotiated. it would be dead wrong not to let him play again if he repays his debt to society. if hes not allowed to play again then all these guys beating their wives should be pushed out too. and the drunk drivers.

He will be suspended at least another season, I can guarantee that. If he gets a one year sentence, he'll get an extra year added to his suspension.

He's not going to play for anybody, anyhow, since he's not that great to begin with, and most teams won't want that on there team. He may get a shot as a backup somewhere.

I doubt he will play again. I think the NFL as a whole wouldn't ban him. But no owners wants to have PETA protesting every home game....and even away games. Now they are labeled as people who condone dog fighting. Couple that with the fact that he isn't that great a QB in the first place and I doubt he will play.

the cowboys ravens and redskins would all take on a player like vick and have the p.r. situations to make it happen. first off jerry jones gives a flying fuck what you think get that correct. the ravens and redskins are in close vicinity to vicks hometown and a higher percentage of supporters.

dont forget, he wont be coming back to a 10 year 130 million dollar contract. hes going to have to prove himself. not only that but america will be spewing its rage in another direction by then and dogfighting will have long been forgotten.

Where did Jerry Jones come in up this thread?

when someone said noone would take vick on. which is laughable. if romo doesnt perform this year then jerry jones is the type make this move. not to mention wade phillips coached vick to a 3-1 record after his injury to finish the 2003 season when reeves got fired. and t.o. has showed interest in the past in playing with vick........ im just sayin

I can see Jerry Jones taking on TO and putting up with Irvin, but none were involved in something as "heinous" as dogfighting. I like Vick and he is a big part of why follow the Falcons, but I feel he is done.

In our society, scoring 81 points after raping a girl is okay and leading your team to a top 10 defense after being involved in a double murder...as long as you dont kill digs

Jerry Jones has the money to deal with Vick. But of course, they would fubar their cap again, so I'm all for it.

After a two or three year break.. Vick is going to be really rusty and won't be good. He's not that good right now, honestly. He's a terrible passer. The Cowboys would have to completely redo there offense for him. You think TO would want to catch passes from Vick? He didn't like McNabb who is A LOT more accurate than Vick.

I mean, sure, he may play in Canada after he comes out of prison, but if he misses 3 years, one to prison, two years to a suspension, then he'll be 30 by the time he gets out. Be losing speed, and still unable to pass.. Maybe someone will take him on and move him to Wide Reciever like he should be playing now.

Someone would probably bring him on as a backup, though, maybe for a real cheap price, which he'd have to take since he's going to be broke as fuck.

if he comes back it wont be for some mega million contract and if hes suspended it wont be for 2 years after he does a year in prison. his career would almost certainly be over then so what would be the point of a 2 year suspension. i think a 2 year suspension would be the absolute longest he gets outside of a lifetime ban and if it is a 2 year suspension it would run concurrent to the prison time. believe that.
