Hey all,
I noticed some people around here post up oics they take, and I ain't gonna lie a lot of them are really great quality pics..so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the people on this board..
I want to get started in photography first as a hobbie and hopefully 1 day make into more like photojournalism or sports photography. But...I'm 25 yrs old and have minimal experience at taking photos.
I wanted to ask the people here what their suggestions would be to getting started, can you recommend any good books, classes, tips..should I learn how to use regualr cameras or just skip on to the digital cameras?
I wanted my first personal project to take pictures of people and places poverty stricken, mainly of people ad I'd want a lot of close up shots, could any suggest me what type of camera I should be looking for..
If any1 can shoot me any information I would appreciate it greatly
thanks
