The clouds look ill...I couldn't even see them in the first pic.

Hmmm it's kind of hard to explain. I use a soft brush with various sizes depending on what I'm burning/dodging. The opacity is adjusted until I find the right setting for the particular image. One thing though is I use multiple layers each with different opacities and overlays and color adjustments.

OR GO TO SHADOWS/HIGHLIGHTS THEN ADD CONTRAST. LOL
