It's for the Texans 2nd and 3rd round picks in this years draft. This is a great trade for the Silver & Black. It's a steal IMO. Miami is only asking for a 3rd round pick for Surtain and we got 2 first day picks for a guy who has yet to reach his potential. Big Al has pulled off another one. The Raiders have a lot of options now.

yep.. Phillip has been good at times with those INTs and return for TDs but lately it looks like he's been losing it along with his punt returns... like Brown said " Phillip giveth.. Phillip taken away " I think we made out pretty good on this deal. Now time to see what happens with C. Wood seems like we may still be trying to shop him

if the raiders trade c-wood. then the raiders is in trouble wit namdi asumgha and hill as the starting CB. and thats not gonna cut it. they need to keep c-wood now that buchanon has been traded, and use one the 2nd round that they got for buchanon to draft Marlin Jackson CB Michigan in 2nd round and use him as safety or CB.

Yeah I'm pretty sure were gonna be stuck with C. Wood.. Other teams won't be willing to pay his high price tag ( $10.5mil ) but fuck it I guess we gonna have to do it

buchanan was the biggest waste of talent - that dude could be so good if he was motivated

some discipline could serve him well

what about Ty Law if he's healthy to the raiders - seems like their kind of player - star on the downside of his career

I doubt we get Ty Law.. I don't think we can afford C. Wood with his high price.. yet C. Wood and Law.. Plus Law still has screws in his foot, But who knows if anyone can do something like this its Al Davis

Good move. Buchanon was a bust. I just hope they use the picks wisely, last years draft was pretty good so hopefully Norv can bring in some more young talent that will actually contribute.

i've been wanting to see buchanon start developing into a shut down corner, has the potential but he is just too inconsistant...maybe he would be better if he didn't get hurt his rookie season...but regardless i aint mad to see him go even tho i got an authentic jersey...haha...they came up and can make some moves in the draft with some extra picks for much needed defense...

but as for c-wood, they could be compensated alot for him jus for trading him, but i think they should deff keep him...he's fallin off on the island (he don't wanna believe that) but if he moved to saftey he would dominate, believe it, because regardless of what anyone says, he is still one of the hardest hitting corners out there, and actually has good form, and a nose for the ball...he would murder foos comin across the middle, except for maybe an antonio gates

yeah I know what you mean by puttin him at safety but he shouldn't be getting paid TOP CB $ to be a safety

dumbass kept referring to himself as "showtime" yet he did nothin to prove it.

be on the lookout for another trade. ESPN reports Jets are lookin to a get a second rounder and Raiders want to get in the first round. . . . . .
yeah he named himself "showtime" after those punt returns and interception returns for touchdowns... Yet he's a CB and his coverage is HORRIBLE.... Lets see what he does in a texan uni
