makes the league (mlb) and mets look bad..i believe players have a moral clause in their contracts that prohibits them from things like this..even though its legal in DR the press gonna hate on dude. and lets not forget them PETA FAGS

whats wwrong with this if its legal in DR?

should we hang Roy Jones because he has a 1000 bird ranch in talahassee but fights all his roosters in louisiana where it is legal?

should we ban erick morales from boxing because he goes to the cockfights in TJ on a consistant basis?

both those dudes are fighters while Pedro plays in "America's Sport". If some fucking senator decided to cause a fuss about it, I'm sure it'd be more than newsworthy.

Other than that, you'll get no argument from me. Its still legal in 3 states in the US as well as where the video was filmed.

And, to me this isn't the same as dogfighting, which is what some will try to say in order to have an argument.

Mcleanhatch comes back for the first time in months, and as usual, his only purpose is to defend cocks.
wroing as usual 2-0-6. i drop in from time to time and 99% of the time its in a baseball thread, just like this one.

only this one has baseball tied up with cockfighting. both of which i know alote about

Yes, I remember: you love cocks.

I actually agree with you though in this case, they should leave Pedro alone on this one.

Regarding Roy Jones, I thought Louisiana recently banned cockfighting?

T

But this does bring up the question: morally speaking, what is the difference between what Michael Vick did and Pedro or Roy Jones jr.? How can one be tolerated while the other isn't?

^Pedro did it in a country where not only is it legal, but they all grow up around it. Now if he got caught doing this in the US.. different story.

Yes, yes, I know the legal technicality differences, but I'm speaking in the moral sense - what is the difference between fighting cocks vs dogs?

note: Vick also grew up around it and so did many other athletes like Gerald McClellan, etc., who were involved in dog fighting. Cultural thing.

Dogs are a "man's best best friend". Chickens are food.

Thats the difference. I thought it'd be obvious to anyone, let alone a white man.

kiss kiss, spot.
