No disrespect to anyone who does this. But is it me or is this just taking away from the DJ or Person who does this. Example, DJ Vlad. You can pay him 200 to host your mixtape. Now everyone has a mixtape hosted by him. In essence doesnt this take away from the value of his name? This is how i look at it. Before this, Vlad's name held weight.
My Question is, Does the quality of the music matter? or is the money more important? Cuz As a promoter, i could take every offer I get but I only put my name on products I feel confident in.
What Do you think?

It just aint DJ's. U get a lot of rappers who have there name slapped on these CD covers. MC Pipe Neck presents............. Bloody Streets Of Iowa City etc. Mothafuckas just get that call & they put there names on these projects & have no kind of affiliation with whoever is behind the project & prolly never even heard the album. Its just a quick 10 racks to them.

No matter what people think people like vlad are helping artists git exposure and at the same time stackin paper. Isn't that what the music biz is about?...there is no rapper, dj or producer that can honestly say that they are not in it for money.

^^^Agree. I feel like 2-3 years ago when someone had Vlad host a tape, it was worth listening. But now when his name is on every tape it kinda takes away from his name. feel me. The fact he is accessible is good, but the fact ANYONE can get shit hosted by him kinda steers me away!
