Yeah he was throwing blows. That was a good ass fight in terms of violence. I thought he was columbian even though they annouced he was from ohio.

okay after watching this fight im deadset that these two will probably meet again down the line, provided that Miranda improves on his boxing skill and gets a better corner.

Miranda had the punchers chance. Had his corner like Lennox was sayin told him not to blow out his nose and lesson the swelling it wouldve been different. Had Miranda's corner told him to HOLD ONTO Pavlik entering the 7th round til he got his legs back rather than goin out and fighting when his legs still werent under him he could've held on long enough to maybe mount a counter attack. Granted his eyes were gonna swell up and close b4 the end of the fight he couldve used his punchers chance to get off 1 big blow. I think they should meet up again down the line.

This is what I want to see as a (super) middleweight tournament

Pavlik v Kessler
Taylor v Calzaghe

obviously the winners face each other

Pavlik had a perfect gameplan and executed it. Even if Miranda had gotten a second wind I think Pavlik would've just kept beating him down. I don't think Miranda would've ever gotten enough energy back to land a knockout blow.

I see Pavlik having more success at super if and when he decides to move up (hopefully after getting a title) than Taylor would. I think Calzaghe murders Taylor.

I thought he was columbian even though they annouced he was from ohio.
Miranda is from Columbia. Pavlik is from Youngstown Ohio.

The Ghost just outboxed and outpowered La Pantera. Too bad but someone had to do it. In the end you need boxing skills to create a career.

If J.Taylor has the nuts to fight The Ghost, he better bring more heat than he showed against The Sphynxster.

He exposed Pantera, but really, Pantera is like another Mayorga IMO. Pavlik had the perfect gameplan, and stuck to it. Back Pantera straight back, without giving him a chance to get his feet in place and set up, but even on the few occasions that he did get a clean hit, Pavlik took it like a Champ and kept coming forward.

That was the most surprising thing IMO, because I didn't expect Pavlik to be able to walk through his punches like that.
