Overall perfomance: LUKEWARM

Link.

Main issues: Iraq war, abortion

Romney: changed from pro-choice to pro-life, "We keep our options quiet. We don't go out to say to a nation that's working with us that we intend to go in there and bring on a unilateral attack," "The only people who can defeat radical jihadists are Muslims themselves." "People like to criticize the president and vice president, and they have made mistakes, but they've kept us safe," "growing the American economy" is the core of improving national infrastructure,

Brownback: pro-life stance = core issue, promised to appoint a judge to the supreme court that would overturn Roe v. Wade, criticized Bush allowing Cheney too much power and influence, "You need somebody coming in with foreign policy experience so they don't have to depend on the vice president as much,"

Giuliani: pro-choice, "a decision that a woman should make with her conscience and her doctor," invading Pakistan "an option that should remain open," "I would take that option if there was no other way to crush al Qaeda, no other way to crush the Taliban, no other way to catch bin Laden," on the bridge collapse ""The way to do it is to reduce taxes and raise more money," (scattered applause), "against the liberal Democratic assumption that you have to raise taxes to raise mone,"

Hunter: "When you have a country that is cooperating, you don't tell them you are going to unilaterally move against them,"

Paul: Believes Cheney to be more powerful than Bush, supports an ammendment defining Vice President's duties, in support of immediate withdrawal of Iraq troops, "We went in illegally, and we ought to just come home," (to audible applause), is currently co-author (with Kucinich) of a House resolution to bring troops home immediately, only one of two Republican candidates that supports withdrawal,

McCain: "We do now have a strategy that is succeeding. We do have a military whose morale is up because they see this success," looks to generals to decide whether we should leave or not, chastised congressional pork barrel spending, implying it was a fiscal roadblock to improvements in national infrastructure, and he promised to veto every bill of its kind "that comes across my desk."

Huckabee: "[We have] better navigation in our rental cars than we do running the country today," "We have to start addressing building this country, and not everybody else's,"

very nice

Internet polling is highly accurate, especially on the drudge report website, Ron Paul totally won!

Aren't we all glad this is a one issue election?

Ron Paul and Ronald Regan were twins separated at birth. It's like totally impossible to tell them apart. It is like the third coming of Christ!

yall who vote for ron paul are going to feel ashamed of standin up for his bitch ass if he does become president.

the only reason why he is "leadin" is because of the libertarian teens who want no war, free marriage, and all that comes with it.
but thats the thing, they dotn know what else comes with a libertarian government, such as tolls on roads n shit.

mista murda, shut your drunk ass up.
if you are publicly declared drunk then you have less credibility than shoowilla....

I don’t have a problem with people voting for who they think will best represent their views – if they can win or not isn’t as important as expressing your will as a voter. The lesser of evils or only who has a chance at getting elected mentality is what entrenches the 2 party system in this country.

BUT . . . I feel that most of the people jocking Ron Paul are either confused about his intentions & platform (and the consequences that go along) or are just flat out voting against their own interests and interests of the country because they lack understanding.

ALSO . . . people misrepresenting/misunderstanding his popularity and his possible electability based off internet popularity – while ignoring (or without understanding) the depth required in running a successful campaign on a national level is also bothersome.
