His old wrinkled azz finally retires from the big leagues. Ewing, one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history, finishes his 17 season NBA career with 24,815 points and 11,606 rebounds. He'll move on to become an assistant coach for Michael Jordan and the Washington Wizards.

Its amazing how much a campaign of hate has been directed toward him since retireing. I go to ESPN.com and it has a poll about his career being a failure. I would stick around to if I was making 20 million a year for sitting on the bench. The man is one of the best ever period. Top 10 Centers easy. Holds about every record in Knicks franchise. When Malone retires without a championship, I wonder if people will be calling his career a failure also.

I was readin in the Washington Post this morning that Ewing and the Bullets were talkin bout he still might play for them at some point next year cause Jahidi White is gettin Knee surgery......I hope he stays in a suite cause its painful watching him play these last few years.
