yea i do think hes over rated. im not celebrating the fact dude broke his leg but im not worried either.
I agree and I can't say anything bad about Willie Parker. He just doesn't seem right in a Steeler offense. If they could find a way to use him between the tackles more then it's all good. I don't see that happening though. I honestly think after he get's healthy we could get a nice trade with him. There are other explosive offenses in the NFL who could benefit nicely from having him in the backfield. We are weak in numerous areas this year on O, D and S.T,'s. No matter what happens though I wish Parker the best. Shit, he got us a 75 yard TD run in the Super Bowl and I haven't forgot about that! GO STEELERS!!!

Parker is fast, but there's more to being a good running back than being fast. He's a product of the system more than he is an allstar running back. You ask me how I think Najeh will do against a team like San Diego or the Colts or New England? Average. Just the same way I think Parker would. He's just not that good.

I said "best injury we could have had" as in...better Parker than a lineman, quarterback, receiver, etc.

Also...best injury we could have had because it forces Arians to get back to that "control the line of scrimmage run the ball and wear them down with a bruiser like when we had Bettis" mentality.

And...what Jazzo said.

But the stats do lie. Parker might have 100 yards rushing in a game on 25 carries, but if he had 2 carries that he broke for 60 yards total, then what that means is that he had 40 yards on the other 23 carries. People don't seem to get that.

I dont even know if I'm making sense though. I was up hammered till 6am playing Punchout last night.
