why the fuck would I want him? He's been washed up..he aint coming here!

He had a good year for a 35 year old receiver. He would be a good fit on a team as a number 2 or 3 receiver. Of course he isnt a #1 anymore. Few people his age are true #1's in this day. Ill STILL take a receiver who can block and will go over the middle for the tough catches. He had 70 receptions last year.

anyone else think it has to do with the fact he said "i think we should really draft brady quinn with this pick" on live tv , kinda airin out his qb haha

I hope not. People put too much thought into that comment. Jake Delhomme is getting up there in age. If you have a highly rated prospect dropping like that you take him, you dont let him slip past you.

Now if he had said Jake played like garbage (which he did ) and hasnt done shit since getting to the SB a few years ago, THEN you look at what he said. he didnt say anything wrong. It is always smart to have a young backup (especially one who was regarded as the second QB in the draft) to develop under the vet and can step in just in case.

The raiders already have jerry porter as a big, possession/over the middle receiver.... I could see him fitting in well in Seattle lining up with Dieon Branch going deep now that they don't have Darrel Jackson.

Also before people get all excited they should remember that his success last year was probably due to defenses stressing so much about steve smith burning them deep every play.....

Our last two "top" receivers were Keenan McCardell and Curtis Conway.

I would at least do a sommersault if we copped Keyshawn.

He would get his looks with the threats of a Tomlinson run or a pass to Gates.

dont get me wrong, me not doing backflips doesnt mean i wouldnt want him here. i guess what i mean is that he his a reciever that for the most part has underachieved during his career, plus he is more torwards the end of his career.
Vincent Jackson is our #1 reciever, if Keyshawn came along he would immediatley be plugged in at #2 with Buster Davis, Eric Parker,Malcom Floyd,Kassim Osgood all fighting for playing time. Remember the chargers two starting wide recievers last season had a total of 0 touchdowns. thats McCardell and Parker. all that and still 14-2, we are deep enough if keyshawn came he would add depth and expierence, if not we will be cool
