washington just beat ucla. we got a tough division this year man. 5 way tie for first right now. crazy. I hope it stays like this come tourney time. If my team falls I still root for other pac 10 teams. Is stanford any good this year. havent heard much. Oregon state hustled my cats thursday. Fuckers.

Yeah Washington won at UCLA for the first time in 19 years. Sad thing is, folks up here didn't even really see it, because it was the same time as the Hawks game.

I don't know if the balance thing is good or bad, because nationally folks will look at our conference, and see nobody in the Top 10, only 2 in the Top 25, and do their usual East Coast bias thing.

well washington, ucla, and arizona are ranked. And Oregon had some heartbreaking losses I heard. Stanford is always a threat like it or not. Cal is too. I just think we are balance all around and have a good shot at contending in the tourney.

I really like washingtons chances. Roy hustles. Ucla too.

Arizona has to get things together. They have so much going on with the starting rotation with mclellen coming back and all. It is frustrating that lute olson has too many good players.

Yes I'm an Arizona fan whenever they aren't playing the UW because like you've been saying, it's the Dawgs, UCLA and them that have it on their shoulders to rep the Pac-10, because nobody else is really going to do it unfortunately.

I also really like your coach, he has always given the northwest a lot of respect (not to mention stolen away so many of our best players, there are typically more players from the NW on your roster than from Zona).

You'all got to bring back those navy blue road uniforms, that red is bugging me.

Yeah Joel's dunk was nice as h is typically are. But I've got to say, he has been a major disappointment this year, I don't see him having an above average career at Washington at this point.

It's crazy for me to even think of Joel making at a high profile program like UW...This year's team is a major change from last years team for sure....I know he's up there in steals and maybe even blocks though....

If he graduates from Washington and is successful in life, that would be special coming from Lompoc High School...I'm sure you know he had to go to prep school right after high school...

UW loses 2 at home to cougs and wildcats and then wins the next 2 on the road. I didn't expect that with not playing on the road at all this year. They just keep suprising me when i don't expect it. Yeah luckly the end of the game was at halftime of the hawks but that's all I saw.

Marcus Williams from seatle is going to be a real good player. Salim and Damon were both from up in the NW too huh.

Them blue road jerseys are ok i guess. I prefer the red ones. I hear the wildcat football team is going red.

So were Jason Terry, Michael Dickerson, Chris Rodgers among others.

The state of Arizona doesn't really play hoops. You guys have had an outstanding program for 2 decades now, the only impact guys from in state over that span have been Frye, Sean Elliott and Richard Jefferson. Not a bad trio at all, but what Lute has pretty much done to turn AZ into a powerhouse is milk California & Northwest talent, with a couple studs from the East here and there.

Yeah UW actually has 4 players on there roster who went to Prep schools out East after high school. It is a new fad in college basketball, coaches figure the players are more physically mature and intelligent if they do that.

Joel is an athletic freak, he is as likely as anybody on the team to throw down that Sportscenter #1 play. I still remember a dunk he had against Houston last year, brings shivers down my spine. But he's frustrating a lot of fans with his ballhandling, his decision making, his inconsistency from three. Who knows though, he's still only a sophomore.

I hope he graduates too, that'd be big for him.

Washington is gonna run away with it.
We'll see. We have a tight division.

Channing frye is badass. He is gonna be a good player in the long run. So is Gilbert Arenas. I like Nate Robinson. Man the guy killed us all the time and has a heart of steal.
