I think the biggest thing that surprises me is that you have players out there that have done things far worse than anything T.O. has done.

Leonard Little killed someone while drunk driving...and has been caught drunk driving again after that.

Sean Taylor spit in someones face (as did Romanowski and Upshaw).

Ray Lewis was charged with murder.

Countless others have been charged with drugs, guns, beating up women, fighting in clubs, etc.

But yeah...T.O. is the cancer...he is the poison. Gimme a fuckin' break.

negetive...will not buy that jersey!!!!

And HOVY....They did not make the supre bowl because of TO. He was hurt the last 4 weeks of regular season adn all of the playoffs except the super bowl he was miracooulsy well enough to play. They made it to the super bowl without him...and the first game back for him......super bowl lose!

TO has hurt more teams than helped.
When T.O. was playing before he got hurt he made that team that much better that season and even though he did get hurt. I totally forgot about that injury but he is a great player if he can just plays football no BS. Every Sunday go score touchdowns and let his agent worry about all the other things off the field. I would say at this point he has hurt more than helped, but he will be given yet another chance to prove what he is worth as a football player.

T.O. will help any team he goes to. He's one of the best in the game. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.

All he did was agree with something Irvin said. T.O. didn't even say it. The MEDIA is the cancer, poison...whatever you want to call it.

He doesn't ruin teams. He was the team in S.F., and it looks like he was right about McNabb too. Some of his other players are speakin' up about him.

Just throw him the damn ball and get out of his way...you'll all cheer for him when he's scorin' TD's.....

AMEN!

Don't know if TO would be a good fit for the Broncos, but I just wanted to say that all these things you mentioned are not locker room problems!! Getting into a fight in the club, getting caught with caine in your ride, drunk driving, etc, doesn't really effect the team or team chemistry. But making personal comments about your QB, your teammates, getting into fights in the locker room, and whatever else he's done, obviously had some effect on the Niners and Eagles. Not saying he's the main reason they're doing bad, but he definitely had a negative effect on em, so it's a big difference!!

Personally I don't care how times a nigga beats his wife, or how many times he was caught with a sack in his ride, as long as those charges ain't affecting the team and he does his shit on the field, then it's all gravy. I would rather have that type of player on my squad than someone who's a big distraction in the locker room, effecting team chemistry.

Anyway with that said, I think if TO can change his attitude and get his head on straight, he would be a good pick up for the Broncs. He's still one of the best receivers in the league, as long as he's under the cap, signing him to a short term contract wouldn't hurt.

Kreep...They are not locker room problems cause the media doesn't ask a million and one questions about it. Which makes me wonder why.....

Why is it OK to beat your wife, get caught with drugs, get into fights...but you can't say that McNabb was tired in the Superbowl, or Gaycia can't throw the long ball? You don't see a problem in that?

T.O. gets blasted cause he's one of the best in the game. So he speaks his mind...big deal. If you can't see how the media turns that into making him a villain...then you need to wake up. Like I said, the media is the cancer.

T.O. is one of the hardest workers in the game, he doesn't get into off the field trouble, and he dominates on the field. Who wouldn't want a guy like that?

unfortunately Owens isthe most talented receiver in the NFL and he is also the worst player any team lookin for unity could sign. He could probably be the best receiver in NFL history if he would change his attitude.

gimpypimp, I don't got a problem with TO and I don't think he's a cancer or anything like that. I'm just sayin the reason I think he catches more heat compared to other players is because the shit he's done in the past was more football related, and those other cats did their dirt off the field in their personal lives, and it usually had nothing to do with football.

Beating your wife, getting caught with drugs, getting into fights in the club, is not right at all, it's actually worse than anything TO has ever done. But none of these things are football related, and they don't cause problems in the locker room.

Making comments about your QB on the other hand, getting into a fight with a teammate, talking about your coaching staff, can cause a big rift in the organization, so I could see why he catches more heat than other players do.

For the most part, Ray Lewis, Jamal, Lewis, Leonard Little, etc are team players, so that's why they haven't caught as much heat as TO. And yea it could also have to do with the fact that he's one of the best receivers in the league, so his popularity could be a factor too. Either way, if he doesn't change his attitude, he's gonna have a hard time getting the type of contract he wants.

MCLEANHATCH,
YOUR OPINION IS BASED ON WHAT'S IN THE MEDIA. YOU SEEM LIKE A PUPPET THAT WOULD BELIEVE THE HYPE.

Dude EDJ...What media hype???? was it the media that had him to a press confrence in is front yard NO IT WAS HIM AND HIS AGENT DREW!!!

Was it the media that nixed the trade to Baltimore because he wanted to go to philly and get paid...NO IT WAS TO AND DREW!!!

Was it the media that made up what was said about Garcia and McNabb?? NO IT WAS TO AND DREW!!!

How about all the things he has said in various venues...IT WAS TO!!!!

Read his book and you will see how this guy is wired. He has no idea of team concept and only cares about himself. The media didn't write that book HE DID!!!!!
