While most NFL teams slow down in their off-season, Terrell Owens' off-season is just heating up.

Denver sources have told FOXSports.com that the Pro Bowl wide receiver and his agent Drew Rosenhaus went to Denver on Monday to meet with Broncos officials at the house of coach Mike Shanahan. Owens and Rosenhaus met with Shanahan, assistant head coach Mike Heimerdinger and director of pro personnel Rick Smith.
Owens and his agent have been given permission to seek a trade out of Philadelphia. And teams such as Denver, Dallas, Tampa Bay and Miami have been linked to his services.

Owens' days in Philadelphia have been anything but quiet, as he's publicly questioned quarterback Donovan McNabb's ability to run a team and has clashed with head coach Andy Reid.

The Eagles dismissed Owens from the team in early November after the controversial wideout got into a fight with former teammate Hugh Douglas inside the team's practice facility.

Owens apologized to the team two days after the incident in a memorable press conference outside of his New Jersey home, but he was not invited back for the rest of the season.

If Owens does not get traded by the beginning of March, the Eagles will release him. And it is expected that any team that signs him will pay him well, but any deal will be contingent upon him being a perfect soldier.

well............whats your opinion on this denver fans??? EDJ?? speak up

Don't want him. He has single handedly taken down 2 franchise who at the time were doing great!

I don't care what anyone says about him being able to change blah blah blah. All he cares about is himself. I have read his book "catch this" and that pretty much shows you the type of person he is. all about TO.

I think TO learned his lesson in Phillie, he now knows he aint no untouchable and all he wants to do now is play, I think the next team that gets him is going to get a quieter TO. If I was a coach I would pick him up because he is a playmaker.

All he wants to do now is play....UNTIL HE CATCHES THE MOST PASSES ON THE TEAM!!!! Then he will revert back to old TO saying he needs to be paid!!!

ALRIgHT HERE'S MY 51 CENTS(JUST SEEN THIS THREAD).

SURE, IF HE'S UNDER THE SALARY CAP AND DOESN'T HINDER THE ABILITY TO gET OTHA PLAYERS. ROD SMITH OUT THE DOOR TOO, SO MAYBE HE CAN gIVE US SOME HOPE IN THAT PERSPECTIVE. I FEEL A ONE YEAR CONTRACT TO TRY HIM OUT WOULD BE IDEAL. A LOT OF FOLK THINKIN' WITH THEY HEART AND MORALS. I DON'T CARE WHAT THAT NIgKA DO IN HIS FREE-TIME AS LONg AS HE DOES WHAT HE PAID TO DO. IT'S A BUSINESS.

The problem is, what he does isn't on his free time, it's on the teams dime and time!!!!!

He has yet to do anything on his free time to hurt himself or a team...EVERYTHING he has done has come during season, to hurt the team, and do nothing but show how much of a NON TEAM PLAYER he really is.

Screw TO. Now the rumors that we may trade for Ricky Williams...I like this move, that dude will run for 2000+ if he doesn't go back to the green, but that is a bif if!! At least Ricky only hurts himslef in this situation as we can get any other back to do the job, where as TO hurts the whole team....look at both Philly and SF

As for being under the cap..Shanny will not even look at TO unless it is cheap but with lots of incentives! But I will still say no to TO

^YOU'RE TOO PERCEPTIVE AND TRYIN' TO JUDgE THE MUTHA-FUKA FOR HIS PAST. THAT'S WHY A 1 YEAR-2 YEAR DEAL WOULDN'T HURT. AND YOU KNOW SHANNAHAN DON'T PLAY THAT BULLSHIT. I KNOW SOME INSIgHT ON HIM. THAT MUTHA-FUKA IS AN ASSHOLE. REMEMBER DELTHA ONEAL? I KNEW WHAT WAS gOIN' ON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS BEFORE THEY TRADED HIM. I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR ABOUT SHANNAHAN EVEN INTERESTED IN T.O. BUT THAT BE A TRIP IF WE ENDED UP WITH BOTH T.O AND RICCY WILLIAMS.

BUT YOU DON'T THINK T.O WOULD BE HUNgRY FOR A SUPERBOWL RINg AND HELP THE TEAM gET THERE ASAP(THAT'S ASSUMIN' PLUMMER DON'T CHOKE)? THAT'S WHY A STIPULATED SHORT-TERM CONTRACT WOULD BE IDEAL.

your short term is 1-2 year deal right? HOW LONG DID HE PLAY FOR Philly???? 1 1/2 years!!

dude is a cancer that should not be tolerated. He's not hungry for a super bowl ring, he is only hungry for the big payday! and if you don't believe that read his book..it comes straight form his mouth that he plays for himself and the money to take care of family.

You say judging his past, so you don't think single handedly taking down 2 good teams is a thing to judge him for?

^FRISCO WAS A BUST AND THEY gOLDEN YEARS WERE BEHIND THEM. HE DID HELP PHILLY gO TO THE SUPERBOWL AND EVEN PLAYED HURT. I'M SAYIN' TO ATLEAST CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITIES WITHOUT JUMPIN' TO CONCLUSIONS(WHICH YOU SEEM TO DO). AND HE DIDN'T TAKE PHILLY OUT, THEY DID THAT TO THEMSELVES. AND OF COURSE HE SELFISH, WE ALL KNOW THAT. THIS gAME IS FUELED BY MONEY AND gREED. WELCOME TO TODAYS WORLD. A LOT IF NIgKAS IS RAPPIN' FOR THE SAME REASON. SO DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS WHAT T.O CAN PROVIDE.
