Can you provide me with any evidence linking the Aztecs to the land north of the current US/Mexico border?
If the Aztecs and Mesheeka/Mesheeca are natives where does that place the natives who helped the spaniards do them in? Where does that leave the native tribes who FOUGHT with the Aztecs?
Did the Aztecs take the land from themselves when they conquered the Toltec and Mayan civilizations?
No one has denied the FACT that native americans were a culture people who had their own religion, practiced science, had their own languages, roads, etc. However, how are these accomplishments related to the current illegal immigration problems?
If mexicans are the Aztecs how are they the Aztecs AND the native americans when history shows these are two disntict tribes?
Here is the mistake that the majority of the “this is our land” supporters are making. You format your argument as if you were fighting for a principle something along the lines of “this land belongs to those who inhibited it first”. In that case I could at least see the logic behind the argument, because as we all know the United State’s history has been one of exploitation and imperialism. If you truly were fighting for this principle your logical first step would be attacking Mexico’s immigration policies as they are FAR stricter than those of the US. Therefore, the Mexican government is preventing far more Natives the right to return home and live on what is rightfully their land. I am not just referring to Native North Americans either, but anyone with indigenous Mexican roots that is currently a US citizen. Why aren’t you fighting for their right to return home? Don’t tell me that I am crazy and “who would fight to leave the US to return to Mexico, that doesn’t make sense” as you illustrated your position in your examples of African Americans returning to Africa;
