johnny cash has some good songs. i fuckin hate country music tho. bluegrass is aight. the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack got alot of spins from me.

You're also from the upper east coast. Maybe you didn't hear the hustling, bustling YAWKERS talking about him, but in the South his name has always been synonymous with roots inspired country music when the topic's brought up.
Yeah but... nobody brought up "roots inspired country music". Basically people are saying that Johnny Cash is in regular rotation on their ipods and in their cd players, and I find that quite hard to believe.
