I wouldn't say thought provoking but if you actual LISTEN to the WORDS in the verses, its very visual and image inducing. You SEE a lot of it, and its far from standard. I used to listen to a LOT of horrorcore, and VERY few horrorcore 'artists' can pull of the ambience they effect on this album. OR portray being psychotically as effectively as they do at points such as the alternated hooks in Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. It actually SOUNDS like they can barely control their voices, some decent voice acting if you ask me. Or at the end of a song, you hear one of them breathing heavily and then the sound merges with that of a swarm of bats flapping their wings, which conveys that supernatual effect of shapeshifting which goes above and beyond that of simple hack'n'slash shock value horrorcore that you so readily associate this with.
I don't by any means think this is a perfect release, I completely skip the intro and two songs on it every time. However it seems your superficial listening skills skimmed right over and past the subtleties that really mark the craftsmanship involved with this album.
