Marcus D’s first album. Dedicated to Hip Hop’s Evolution. Charles Darwin’s idea of advancing for survival. In a genre of music where this idea has given way to ignorance and apathy, “Revival Of The Fittest” breaks the mold. His introduction into independent hip hop is filled with beautiful, gritty and innovative beats. Combined with a collection of lyricists that span the genre with one important thing in common: Progression.

The idea was to combine talent from across the US in order to showcase Seattle’s overlooked, underground hip hop scene. The result is a brilliant composition of music that fans can sit back and enjoy as well as get up and bounce. A full collection of quality songs reminiscent of Lyricist Lounge and DJ Clue mixtapes.

Every beat is produced by Marcus D, and in the short time of putting this album together, he has received recognition from QN5’s Substantial and MIC records’ Royce Da 5′9″ and Kid Vishis. He has also been featured in WWS Magazine and online features with WeLoveHipHop.com and HipHope.com.
