OT - CHRISTIAN RAP

Living life right is in the eye of the beholder. I live life right enough, but have done enough damage to my thoughts, and my body that somewhere inside i know its not 100% "right". With that said i wouldnt change half of the experiences, and lessons learned from doing so. Glad to see some intelligent conversation around these parts though.

A couple of other cool little facts about my Church are that the average age of someone in the congregation is about 24 yrs old, my pastor does not take a salary. All of the Church's finances are printed in the handout each week and my pastor DOES NOT preach a service centered around how much $ you should give. The finances of the Church are completely transparent. We are 6 years old, we get together at the church on Fridays and play Madden, or 2k9, slam some bones, or play spades, maybe shoot a little pool, and people are allowed to move at their own pace. I have yet to meet someone that ever came there and was uncomfortable.

myself personally i like to hear some positive music. cause now dayz alotta emcees aint got nothin to say besides rappin about how rich they are or how many cars they got. i recently restablished my relationship wit god an to be honest i feel alot better makin this kind of music than the dark stuff i was doin before. i just feel that hip-hop in general has gone down the drain. with the exeption of a few artists.
UMMmmmm.... Take a look at the content of that myspace and tell me they're not Christian... And they talk about "Jesus" in the verse of "Don't Waste Your Life"... so. I think the music is good but the content is overly preachy, regardless of what religion it's preaching.
