Yo. 116 is real talk. Tech IS a fan as well. These cats are from cross movement as well. Yes cross movement that Da Truth is signed to. These cats do Christian rap that sounds every bit like secular music. Most Christian rappers are corny. These cats are not. Lecrae is part of 116 and dude is ill.

The showmanship that he reflects is no different than your favorite rappers talking about slining coke and killing mother fuckers cuz they looked at him wrong. NO difference.

Man yall need to understand some things......

For one, there is NO religious content in 116 or Lecrae's music.

NONE.

They preach PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, NOT RELIGION.

I have never understood why anyone could have a problem with this music. They spit a good message, a message that if taken seriously would prevent alot of the heartache some of us have had to go through when someone decides to take the life of one of our loved ones, or decides to steal the stuff we have worked so hard to earn. Maybe if people were as accepting of a "love" message as they are to some violent ones, we would have a world with people that have different morals. I generally like Tech N9ne
fans because we appreciate "heartfelt, real" music. Putting a little God in your life can only change things for the better. Ask Tech N9ne.

To recap though, Cross Movement does not support organized religion.

Great post until right here. Now dont get me wrong, Im not an atheist, nor am I super-religous. What Im sayin surely will be blown out of porpotion but I know some are thinking the same thing. How can putting god make life better? Wheres the PROOF?

I dont know maybe Im just dumb about this type of thing. When I was religious I felt NOTHING different than I do now. Im just confused on the whole religion thing. If this post offends you. disregard it.:ermm:

Naw it doesnt offend me, I am a Christian, and by Christian I mean I am not perfect just like everyone else in this world. The most important thing I can tell you bro is to make you sure you take the RELIGION out of it. Religion destroys what being a Christian is really about. Christians can't judge anyone, that is what our word teaches us. Religion is a routine, you can be religious about working out for example, or reading a certain paper. The Religions were created and Christians starting judging how other Christians worshipped God, and now baptists wont worship with methodists and so on.

All I can say bro is if there is anything that makes you feel like you have a soul, then you believe that you arent just some clump of matter, and that soul had to come from a creator. If you feel like someone who died is still with you in a way than you believe that a soul remains after someone dies.

If you believe that you will have to stand before God and be accountable, just remember you will have to do it by yourself, so your personal relationship with God is what matters.
