Opinions on the new sampler.

I think the sampler can only be as good as whats on there. When You have a bunch of incomplete songs to listen to then how can you form a complete opinon on the songs? You can like Carabou Lou for now but what if the rest of the song is whack? (not that it would be) Or you could hate Fuck em girl,but right after the verse we here the next one is the SHIT!!!!. Some Tech songs are like that for me. In the same song some verses are tight and others dont seem as tight but the over all song is dope. Ie: Jellysickle. Tech 1st verse could have been tighter IMO but 40's verse and his 2nd verse are FIRE!!!!!.
Just saying dont be so quick to judge the album based on the sampler.

Riot Maker is the shit, and my favorite songs on there are "Bout ta Bubble", "Its What You Thinkin", "Caribou Lou", and of course "Riotmaker". I like the catchy chorus in the song "Caribou Lou" and "Riotmaker" pumps me up too. i just hope that Everready lives up to the hype and I know Tech and Strange music won't let the fans down.
I like the whole sampler. One reason I always liked Tech from the start was because his beats and talent had the potential to be mainstream. I will admit, I only listened to mainstream music for the longest time; then when "It's Alive" came out on the radio here in KC, I was instantly hooked. One, because Nelly had just made it big and I was interested in anything that came out of Missouri. I thought, "This cat is pretty good," and I wanted to support him by buying his album. Two, the beats were catchy on the album, so I instantly was hooked because of his "mainstream potential."
So the fact that these beats sound more mainstream than ever, doesn't bother me. What will bother me is if Tech ever does a bunch of mainstream songs that talk about absolutely nothing or sound like shit. Too bad Nelly's first album was the only one I ever cared for. That one and the Lunatic's CD titled, "Free City."
