He completely fell off. He was better when he was in the Bay. Hot albums from him were "Ghettoz tryna Kill me","99 Ways to die","Ice Cream Man". All were dope bay heat. Tru 2 Da Game is a classic. If you listen to him from The Last Don and on he straight fell off. He completely forgot where he started. The only reason why he is where he is today is because of the Bay.

I think all the bay Master P albums for the most part were dope. All the flack ya'll hear about him is the bad business he used ta practice like tear a hole in your ass record deals to the bay artists that knew they would see more money mathmatically if they just sold they shit they selves. The other reason why you hear all that hate is cause alot of the artists on them gold & platinum compilations never recieved they plaques. anyone who apprears on a gold or platinum record is supposed to recieve a plaqe, no matter how minute thier participation might have been: Production, Chorus only, 1 verse, whatever. Plus of course cats from the rich would be like Fuck P jus cause he took the money and ran after he was reppin them so hard, its like gettin left in the dark pond after someone hypes up where you from and what ya'll created.

I used to bump the shit out of Master P's tapes when he was in the Bay. Ghettos trying to Kill Me was dope as fuck. Ghetto Dope was sick. I used to think P was raw on the mic hella grimy. As an artist he fell off bad but he was dope for a while and I respect his business manuevers.

I remember playing hoop with C murder,Big Ed,Silk,MasterP,King George at Harry Ells school they use to pile in a old Hyndai use to alsway give out posters and tapes, to me P got big in Richmond after The Ghettos Trying To Kill Me,then West Coast Bad Boyz put him on another level not the best rapper but he knows how to make mobes in the rap game like none other back then,he also had his No Limit record store shit I was in the When They Gone video he shot some of it at the Candlelight a old school Richmond club off Cutting blvd

I remember the candlelight...Its ace hardware now...I listened to all master p shit up until ghetto d...after that...it was all boo boo....the TRU soundtrack thang was the hardest shit to me...the one wit the song im bout it bout it...and the album 99 ways to die was hard lightweight too

Master P is responsible for putting the South on the map. Bounce that Ass had everyone going bananas. I think he took Bay game and put his own twist on it. Before Cash Money, No Limit was runing shit. He did put some Bay rappers on his roster but just like last year they were unable to take advantage of having a foot in the door. Master P is a genius and now he's marketing his son to a new audience.

Haha @ people who act like he OWES something back to a particular region for his success. What a complete load of bullshit.

The guy went and got a degree at university and then worked his ass off and ran his operation like a business from day one. He would have made it just as big regardless of where he was.

real talk...i love the bay, but the bay has some of the biggest haters ever no wonder the word playa hater came from the bay
