Ong-Bak The Thai Warrior, new martial arts movie

Movies looks dope, almost didn't make it to our western world. Anyway I saw the commerical w/ the wu-tang kat advertising it. I just like to say to the handful of Khmers if that much we got in this board the star is CAMBODIAN!!! Well of a Khmer bloodline anyway, he was raised in Thailand which used to be a part of Cambodia. Finally, I get to see a star that's my own peoples. But this is a Thai movie, and it looks dope, be sure and check it out. I think it will be subtitled but I heard what makes this movie is the action and it doesn't have much of a storyline. Hit up the trailer:

japanese trailer, bigger/better trailer: http://www.apple.com/jp/quicktime/trailers/gaga/mach_large.html
Oh yeah, did I forget to tell y'all? The kat does his own stunts!!!

American release date: Feb. 11th, limited theatres hit up www.ongbakmovie.com to find it in a theatre near you. It's out in Santa Rosa I just watched it at the roxy, well worth my money.

There hasn't been a good martial arts movie out in a minute. There are no graphics none of that, everything is real and all the stunts are performed by the actor himself. Shit looks savage as fuck, if you didn't peep out the japanese trailer hit that up. I saw the trailer and on MTV and it's nothin like the japanese version.

I saw the trailer and the fight scenes look real even tho I know its fake. They come close to hitting each other without actually hitting each other
Yeah some part looks fake but I'm pretty sure when Tony Jaa is kneeing muthafuckas that shit is REAL. Some fake hits of MOST real shit. Like Method Man said at the NY premiere "Keep It Real."

Movie's out!!! Go watch it, the fighting choreography has got to be one of the best ever made.

Yeah it is subtitled but like I said earlier folks, it's all about the fighting, there's no storyline. More fight than talk....I've watched it 2x and the second time I'm still like did he really do that?
