i understand that bball is a tiring sport.....but hardly enough to take three or more days in between a game.....its not like these people are on the court fo the whole fuckin game?

uhh...if it goes all seven, theres only 2 times where they get 2 days off. each other time it's only one day.

7 games, 15 days...it's no longer than the other rounds.

they give them a week rest to get ready for the finals just like the superbowl becuase they want the teams healthy so no one gets hurt and the stars are healed up and ready to go. they do get a couple of days off here and there but in the nba usually 8 people play for a team while the starting 5 usually plays about 35-40 minutes of the 48 minutes. and kobe probably plays 45 minutes. it sucks waiting another day or 2 but its for the best basketball games.

it was a rant but it is still pretty lame that bball players need so much rest....

it is pretty long but nothing is worse than baseball. It's already one of the boring sports to watch and yet they play like 8,000 games in the regular season and another 2,000 games in the playoffs. As soon as the season ends the players are in training camp and the first game is about to start. wtf

Actually I think the NFL is almost perfect the way it is. In fact, I'm in favor of cutting the pre-season down to three games, possibly two, and I'm against extending the regular season by one game.

When I was a huge NBA fan I thought the season was too long. the first quarter/half season is meaningless. The playoffs weren't as bad though back then because the first round was best of 5.
