This story/event is not only sickening and sad, but a wake up call to all of those claiming to be down with the streets, and claiming "street codes". In most situations we all bear down to the whole "STOP SNITCHING" code, but where was the code of morals killing an infant? It`s time we ALL start taking a look at ourselves and our streets and the examples we lead to the younger generations who follow our every steps. It`s events like this that make a call from society to the politicians for stricter laws, and then we turn around and complain about it. IT`S OUR OWN DAMN FAULT!! It`s time we all man up and join together to make something positive happen for our streets, for the family, and for the victims of this tragedy.

We need to start taking care of our own in this country, and I don't care what color our skin is or what color is being sported... An example; there are over 92,000 kids in the foster system in CALIFORNIA alone, and over 7,000 are in Sacramento County. These kids are 51% boys and 49% girls, most ranging from 4 years old to 12 years old.

Where are we going to be in 15 years if we don't give these kids a safe home and some values to live by?
