Olympus voice recorder?

Right now my setup is cool edit pro on my comp and I'm gonna go by a Olympus voice recorder so I can just plug it in to my comp, extract my verse and lay it over a beat....but which should I get?

Olympus voice recorder....those things that are meant to take to college discussions to record them as notes? i dont think those will do u. Get a real mic. With an audio interface that has phantom power lol. For reals tho, thats like wasting 60 bucks not spending 60 bucks.

look fam, that aint gonna do you no kinda good. like really. buy an interface or at least a fuckin radio shack mic. that'd be better than a voice recorder.

my friend uses it and it works fine, but what mic should I buy thats compatible with Cool Edit Pro?
