When I was in rehab there was a kid from KC who was obsessed with Tech N9ne. I think it was he who told me that Tech got started rapping because his friends dared him to write a rap and do it for his whole school and he did so well that he just decided to keep going.

So I was wondering if there's any truth to this or if its just a load of malarkey.

It was a 'behavioral modification program' and I was one of the less 'bad' kids. I went in at 15 for drinking, smoking bud, skipping school, bad grades, etc. I was in for almost exactly two years. First was in Montana, second was in Utah for the last six months. I was in the Utah facility when I heard Tech for the first time. I heard I'mma Playa and Jellysickle on the radio. I think it was Imma Playa, not sure any more.

as for the rumor. Thats a pretty weak rumor. I wouldnt even call that a rumor. I would call it bio clarification. No excitment or dirt to it.

Just the other day I was at work, me and the other two dudes I work with hop in his car to go get something to eat and there was this e-40 tell me where to go remix with game and kanye west and some others I couldnt remember. Then the dj played this long ass lil wayne freestyle that was the worst i've ever heard. I remember him saying "hes hot like a flame but his name ain't bic" or something. It was aweful.

But yeah dj's play whatever.

This gave me an idea for the open forum.
