I just can't come up with shit. They have "FUTURE FLAVORS" on KUBE....."STREET SOUNDS" on KEXP......."THE UNDERGROUND" on Jammin' 95 in Portland.................what in the hell can we call our ALL NW HIP-HOP RADIO SHOW??????

I know 1 of you has got some brilliant idea.....Sgt. Hustle has one but she's holding out on me.....she wants $1,000,000 for it....lol. My proposal is done......except for a show name.....

I kinda don't want to do "street" anything for 3 reasons:

1. There is already "STREET SOUNDS" hosted by my homeboy B-Mello on 90.3 KEXP (formerly KCMU)

2. Everything we play may not be "street" oriented

3. I don't want it to play off my label name either.....this needs to be a seperate creature with it's own ID.

The word "essence" itself is beautiful because it means "indespensible properties that identify something"........and the music we would be playing would identify the NW sound! Yes! I love it!!!! Plus it kinda rhymes......I could hear the show intro now.

I'll keep thinking if this idea sucks, and it just sounded good to me at 5:45 in the morning....

The Puget Sound really only means Seattle, Tacoma & Everett......maybe Bremerton & Olympia too but that's it. It's an idea......but it doesn't represent the whole NW region like we need it to. Plus people might get confused when it's talked about thinkin' that we're actually talkin' about the body of water and not the show. Thanks though!
