Even when I did give shit up for lent (back when I was like 7 years old), I'd always fuck up. I'd start out by giving up soda, then it'd be only dark soda, then it'd be only coke, then I'd have a coke so I woulnd't accomplish anything.

I'm Catholic, but probably the worst one out there. I hate church and never go. I don't think I ever followed thru on lent ever. I haven't attempted to give anything up. Always eat meat on Fridays. Couldn't really quote shit from the bible if my life depended on it. The only thing that kept me awake in church was hot girls in pretty dresses. The list goes on.
