Vince Young is garbage. He's gonna be a wannabe Mike Vick but he's not as fast and he can't dodge tackles as well. He won't be running any linebackers over in the NFL so we won't ever see a performance like the one against USC. He's a mediocre passer at best. He is not worth a first round pick. The problem is I heard the Raiders are already considering him!
Everything about Vince Young screams BUST.
Had a great Junior year.
Never played under center ie. doesn't know what a 5 or 7 step drop is.
Has an unorthodox throwing motion.
Scored low on the wonderlic test TWICE.
On paper he looks like Ryan Leaf after the 98 Rose Bowl but with better wheels.
I never root against anyone or wish someone to do bad, unless they play for Ohio State or Nebraska, but if history teaches us anything TALLENT+BIG QUESTIONS=BUST

Whoa! Someone missed the 2000 Sugar Bowl. Vick single handedly kept Tech in that game against FSU, when Tech was way over matched. One of the best performances I've seen by a college football player.
And Vince young beat a mediocre, at best, defense (USC), with his legs, not his arm. Vince Young will not be a good NFL QB. I agree with whoever said that he needs to be moved to TE.

I think he's the best player in the draft. I'd pick him #1.

ok... in all honesty, I'll give you MV is better than or at the very least, equal to Vince in the running department (even tho the stats favor VY). But for all you people to equate Vince to Vick as a PASSER is simply idiotic.
Oh and Vince also finished 3rd in the Passing Efficiency ratings this year... his 163.9 is better than one Matt Leinart's 157.7 against the feared pass defenses in the PAC10.

Vince Young will be a bust? OMG.... I've heard it all. No way Vince Young will be a bust in the NFL. He's 5 inches taller than Vick and played much better in college. Vince won't come in the NFL and dominate yet... give him a year or two under NFL coaching and watch out. You 49er fans are mad because Alex Smith is a bust. If I was a defensive coordinator playing against the 49ers I would scheme and roll my coverage towards Davis. Alex Smith is a bust! Vince Young won't be.
