official NFL uniform rules?

i was playing my bro at madden and he was heated cuzz i intercepted the ball and his excuse was "i couldnt see him, ur away uniform color has to have white as the main color. its in the rules." my uniform color is a really light gray, like 1 or 2 shades up from white when choosing the colors, so i wanted to know if any1 knew the real rules.

btw i was playing with a created team thats why i was choosing my colors

um, in the nfl the home team gets to choose whether they want to wear their light or dark uniform and then the away team must do the opposite. you cant have a light colored jersey as your dark uniform. it has to be dark.

and while we are on this subject, did the NBA change the rule and let the home team pick the color cause the Suns were wearing their road jersey at home. I know the NHL changed the rule
