the things "missing" in GTA 4 are very minor things that people are complaining about - customized radio, customized cars, more clothing stores, not being able to work out in the gym. Jesus, go play a Sims game or something.
The amount of detail in this game is massive. To compare GTA4 to what EA sports does to Madden is silly. EA releases a new game every year. Rockstar has worked on this game for over four years. There is a reason why every major gaming review site gave it a perfect score.
And I think a lot of people were just huge San Andreas fans and wanted that Menace II Society/Boyz in the hood/early 90's type of feel. This is entirely different. If not it would have just been a re-make.

As a matter of fact, i dont even pay attention to the radio when im in the car, and sometimes prefer it to be OFF.
Working out was a COOL conecept, but, i mean, really? I COULD have donw without it.
And why are so many people obsessed with what Niko is wearing? I mean, isnt there other shit to do besides worry about his appearl?
However, I wish they would have kept the bicycles in this game, I liked ridin those ALOT.

LMFAO@ all you suckas who own a 360...the reason gta4 has problems on a 360 cuz the game wasn't even supposed to be made for that system.gta's always ben a playstation release the only reason why its on 360 cuz they wanted to make more money and not many people own a ps3..blu ray disc can hold a whole lot of data to the disc unlike a 360 which came with 2 disc one for the gameplay and the other for online which is wack as fuck....step your game up to a P 2 the S dot 3..mob figa shit boy...lol..
thats a real stupid thing to say....if it wasnt suppose to be made for XBOX360 then why did they release it on it? and uh.....no it did not come with 2 discs unless they forgot to pack in the 2nd disc in mine and accidentally included the online play in my 1st disc...lmao. i played GTA 4 for both systems and theyre identical and my xbox 360 game has not frozen on me once.
