so far claims of it bein because the 60 gig version look believable. i got the 80 gig and it's runnin smooth, ive been playin it for a lil over 2 hours

Yeah thats happened to me too.. But it flipped over hitting nothing too lol..

And i dont fuck wit tha PS3 i got a 360.. I've been playing since 11:00 today and havent had anymore problems with tha freezing.. Damn im gettin deep into this story.. I need to go eat, but i dont wanna set the controller down haha

pc games suck becuase there are a lot of console exclusives, metal gear solid, gran turismo's, etc. you gotta keep upgrading your pc to play the newest games. the controls are better for FPS only, the rest of the time its wack. and FPS on consoles are fine, unless you obsess over a mouse. you can mod a 360 to play burnt games and you never have to update your 360 to play the games coming out for it in 3 years. resolution is only better if you have a display that can accept the better resolution. pc games are for the anti-social.

id much rather sit 8 feet from the tv on a couch and play games while drinking or smoking then sitting hunched over a computer desk.

its personal preference but pc games are a dying breed.

I'd only use a p/c for RTS and some RPG games, any other genre i found works better on consoles.. Thats IMO tho.. But i wouldnt call P/C gaming lame or anything, because thats how i started gaming with counter-strike and Diablo 2.

Police say one man apparently waiting in line attacked a passerby, while a teenager elsewhere was beaten up for his copy of the game.

Midnight launches aren't always the gaming industry's proudest moments. The PlayStation 3 release in particular was riddled with launch-related crimes, including a mugging, a store robbery, a launch line hold-up, and a shooting.

Grand Theft Auto IV went on sale in stores around the world at 12:01 a.m. this morning, and already reports of criminal midnight launch madness are starting to filter in. BBC News is reporting on a pair of incidents, with news of a stabbing outside a Gamestation in Croydon and a mugging by another game store in Lancashire.

According to the news service, a 23-year-old man was attacked by a knife-wielding assailant as he passed a line outside the Gamestation. The victim was treated for several stab wounds and has since been released. The attacker, who police said appeared to be waiting in the line of about 50 to 100 people, was not apprehended.

In the mugging, an 18-year-old was robbed of his copy of the game and beaten as he walked home from the store with a friend. The victim was taken to the hospital with a broken jaw and a broken nose.

Police are asking for witnesses in both cases to step forward.

lol i wasnt talkin about better [first person shooter] i was talkin about [frames per second] the frames per second are better on pc. lets see gears of war on xbox is locked at 30 frames at 720p while i get 62 frames which is the max for the game at 1080p. you tell me which is smoother and better. and games like turismo and metal gear dont interest me one bit. my pc can run all games max settings at 60+ frames. except crysis. you think i sit next to a 20" monitor 3 feet away playin games?? lol i got me a big ass monitor and a x360 controller to play my games with. i sit back on my couch and play my games. not on my computer desk. and mouse n keyboard for games sux balls. controller all the way
