I'm just curious as to what makes Rose better than Monta. No one has been able to articulate that yet. Rose got better handles. That's it.
Position doesn't mean anything here because cats will argue Kobe vs Lebron all day.
I'm talking about a healthy Monta vs a healthy Rose. Cats will pull the 'Rose is just a rookie' shit out of their ass eventually. Even with that, Monta's numbers (using 07-08 because he's playing hurt this year) are better in every major category with the exception of FT%, 3PT% (where they both suck) and assists.
This is all assuming Monta gets back to 07-08 form, of course

remember that Tim Kawakami is the one who said monte would never play in a warriors uniform ever again before he came back and played....im glad nellie told crawford to cut or be traded he shoots way to damn much and is way to inconsistent....ellis should only be used as a shooting gaurd but he needs a point who can gaurd the opposing teams shooting gaurd, monte has to gaurd the point....him and baron were perfect for each other...baron opted out of a contract! we did not get rid of him! he chose to go elsewhere. Now we got bulls fans worried about what the warriors do? ellis and rose are similar players but totally different at the same time...

U CANT COMPARE POINTS BETWEEN A PASSIVE POINT GUARD AND A SHOOTING GUARD EVEN THOUGH ROSE, BEING A POINT GUARD IS STILL AVERAGING ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS. You're talking out of your ass saying that Monta was all fastbreak. Monta only took somewhere between 50 -100 more shots in the paint than he did from midrange in 07 - 08 (629 in the paint, 500+ from midrange).
So just because Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen get set up by their teammates after working off the ball, that means Derrick Rose is better than them? Ultimately, the shots still have to go in, right? Not to mention that you're not even taking into consideration Monta being a problem running the pick and roll BECAUSE he can make that 17 - 20 footer AND can get to the basket in one dribble if you go over the top of the screen. He rarely has to set anyone up because he gets what he wants one way or the other.

I think don Nelson needs to go his time is up.......Crawford is a beast and the only true ballhandler we have.......I agree with the person who said he shoots to much......but thats Nellies offense............He just gives the green light.....I say we get avery jimney the cricket johnson and go from there.........

In 2K9, if you play like a "cheeser" and just try to dunk everytime, then yes Derrick Rose works better for that.

BETTER ATTACKER, BETTER BALL HANDLER, BETTER PASSER, BIGGER DIFFERENCE MAKER, QUICKER, FASTER, MORE ATHLETIC, ETC. MONTA HAS A MORE CONSISTENT MID RANGE BUT ROSE IS DEVELOPING THERE. U PUT UP MONTA'S STATS FROM LAST YEAR WITH POINTS, AND EVEN THOUGH ROSE IS A PASSIVE POINT GUARD COMPARED TO A SHOOTING GUARD, HE WASNT EVEN THAT FAR BEHIND AT ALL WHILE HAVING MORE ASSISTS AS EXPECTED.
