for a move it takes two willing parties, the warriors are probably willing, but are other teams willing to trade their stars away? how many stars get actually get traded? everyone thought bosh and amare would get traded, and neither got traded even vince carter didnt. its not as easy as wanting to trade then to have a trade actually hapen.
and every year monta was supposed to work on his PG skills during the summer he has been injuried (moped this year, fell on his neck and was almost paralized last year, the year before that baron was the PG and ellis was cemented at the SG) so they havent had time to try to develop him at the PG like the wanted. so right now he is what he is, which is a SG. it takes time to learn how to run a offense and see the court like a PG does. he may never have it, some have it some dont maybe he could learn it. the ankly injury is a plus right now becuase he cant rely on his athleticism so he has to do other things like pass better, make better decisions all around instead of playing reckless.
