All good. I can't be totally mad if they play like they did tonight. At least they put up a good fight.

I think we all knew realistically that we weren't going to be a contender this year...and Monta isn't really going to make as big a splash as people think, so I guess you just gotta get used to it.

they played a much better game than i thought they would, and they played better than the past previous games...sucks jackson got hurt, if he was there in the second half we might have been able to take it

Warriors president Robert Rowell said recently that Don Nelson's job as head coach is secure.
"No, I've not given [Nelson's job performance] an ounce of thought," Rowell said. "Nellie's a great coach." This isn't surprising, considering Rowell gave Nellie a two-year, $12 million extension this past offseason.

^^^haha my bad for confusing ya

"Monta Ellis' rehab from ankle surgery is going well, but his relationship with Warriors' management remains strained, according to Tim Kawakami of the Mercury News.
There is still no timetable for Ellis' return, and there are rumblings that he might demand a trade once he's proven that his ankle is healthy. The Warriors are still holding the right to void his contract, which isn't helping matters, and an ugly fallout is quite possible. Stay tuned as this soap opera unfolds."

i fucking hate kawakami. heard him on knbr the other day, he is the bearer of bad news. i think he is just going to keep predicting horrible things until one comes true. he is the same dude that almost got beat up at the raiders facility for getting out of line, if my memory serves me right. please no more kawakami articles.

I always follow Marcus Thompson, Geoff Leaper, and THEN Kawakami......even tho I hate Matt Stienmetz, I will read his blog for Warriors info too. haha.....

They say Monta is looking good (no homo). He was eyeing a Dec 26th comeback v.s. Boston, but that didn't happen. "If" he thought was able to play then, he should be coming back real soon. I predict Jan 23rd at home v.s. LeBron !! That would be sick....

^^^yup, here ya go

" Don Nelson said on Tuesday that Monta Ellis thinks he's ready to make his season debut, and he could start practicing soon.
"He's chomping at the bit," Nelson said. "We're being very conservative with him. But he's getting close to being in practice....If we had rushed him back, he'd have been playing two weeks ago because he wanted to play." This report came out of nowhere, and is obviously terrific news for Ellis' owners. There are rumors that his relationship with Warriors mangement have soured, but with any luck that won't put a hitch in his return."

and FUCK i really wish we had S-jax for tonights game

Warriors swingman Stephen Jackson will be sidelined for at least two weeks after an MRI confirmed that he has a strained hamstring.
Jackson's absence should open the door for Kelenna Azubuike to start, or at least play significant minutes. Nellie could also turn to any combination of Anthony Morrow, Rob Kurz, Brandan Wright or Marco Belinelli...basically everyone is in play, so keep an eye on the Warriors boxscores.
