Thats what I'm confused about....we came in here saying we played like shit and you fools got offended. No one said we were the almighty chargers nor did we "overhype" our team.
In fact, around town everyone is pissed and worried about all the injuries. If anyone is over hyping the chargers it's the media and not us.....

I'm not one of those "go back and post hella quoted posts" type people, but there were plenty of y'all on cassel's nuts when you guys first got him from NE. that foo looked raw there because of the system, he not really that raw. don't get me wrong, campbell is not leaps & bounds better tho....I just hope somehow you guys win like 3-5 games (none against us of course) and not have the worst nfl record so you don't get andrew luck!
I was going to say the same thing. Didn't feel like going back and digging up posts from last year, but there were several people hyping up Cassel like he was the shit. Like that one thread "If you could build a team around ANY QB in the league, who would it be?".....all the chiefs fans picked Cassel. Hyping him up every week like he was the real deal, now after a few shitty games, nobody wants him.
Cassel is fucking awful. I wouldnt have him as my backup. Hes ALL hype coming from NE. People hella expecting him to be another Tom Brady. Dudes a lifetime backup if that.
The thing with Cassel that eats at me the worst is how he can look really sharp then the other 85% of the time he plays like a retard. Maybe Haley's ass chewing woke his dumb ass up.

Cassel put up some great numbers last year.
But I do agree he's an average QB that was put in a QB friendly system before comin to KC. Shit, when Brady went down, look at his numbers. He didn't do bad at all n put some good numbers for a QB but that goes to show that it wasn't necessarily him doin good but more so the offense he was runnin which happened to be QB friendly so it worked to his advantage, obviously cuz he got traded for what like a 2nd rd pick or some shit don't know the details but also got a huge contract. After one solid year the chiefs gave him, what, like a 5 or 6 year 60 mil I think. 10 mil per year? Not positive at all wit the numbers but regardless folks jumped the gun on cassell after one good year in NE.

And if that was the case that we Chiefs fans were "on Cassel's nuts"....it would have been because where we were coming from. A concussion plagued Trent Green, Huard, and the no longer on the team Brodie Croyle. I am just saying that Cassel was and still is a complete upgrade from where we were coming from.
