I've bumped Spice 1 for the longest, got every damn one of his CD's from out the gate right through to all his comps and collabs of the last five years, and I got to say even so, I co-sign this post.

That ain't hate, I been knowing about Spice 1 too but his last couple of CD's have been horrible and the sound of someone who is way past his best. Dude who reminding us of his OG status probably didn't even hear his recent shit.

I just don't see what putting dude on like this is gonna do. Gotta respect 40's love for his old peer, but this ain't a route the Bay need to be taking its new mainstream buzz, we should be promoting the cats who on the come up.

I loved 1990-sick, 187 he wrote, Amerikkkas nightmare and all that good shit but when Spice 1 comes out on a Lil Jon beat doin all that ol' biggedy biggedy biggedy O shit, cats it just gonna clown us on some Kriss Kross tip.

Anyway... I guess we'll see how this shapes up, I'll respect dude for getting it if this goes through, but in 2006 I think a lot of us know there are plenty more marketable artists who deserve major-label deals.

thats some real talk ya'll - e-40 knows who got the talent in the bay, otherwise he would be supporting spice 1, Big Rich, inked up the Federation by recording Hyphy - e-40 is a vet in the game makin money moves now. good luck spice!

As previously reported, Spice 1 had a deal in the works with E-40 and LIL Jon. But after an email was sent from E-40 to me 2 days ago, this isnt exactly true. If a deal is struck between parties, LIL JON, will not be involved, this would be a deal between E-40 and Spice 1. 40 would be signing him to his label thats distributed by Navarre. Heres what 40 water had to say:"Jon has nothing to do with it this would be through my distribution through Navarre, not Bme or Warner".

To me this is still a very good look for Spice, with Sic Wit it/ 30/30 behind him, you know your going to get some quality music and good promotion, Im looking foward to see how this plays out
