I have studied the occult and the effects the occult may or may not have on people. I believe it all stems back to this audio tape my older brother had back in the day. When I say "studied" I am not talking about studying it in hopes of accepting it as my dogma/doctrine. You have to understand your enemy and the tactics your enemy uses before you can wage a war...

Do any of practice any thing in the occult?
No.

Yeah I know what you mean... everyone thinks it's fake just cause they've never seen it....

well since you've studied it for about 11 years... have you had any strange or interesting
experiences with it? I seriously want to hear it about... forgot those who mock or don;t believe i just wanna discuss this with people who are into it.

I've heard some crazy stories... so I'm trying to hear more

I thought Americans celebrated Halloween... meaning most of you probably do without even knowing it.
Besides Walpurgisnacht , All Hallows Eve is one of the main Satanic Holidays. Most people celebrate a Satanic Holiday without knowing it , you're right.

^^So Pagan equals Satanic?!?
Not at all. I should have made the statement better. Halloween is a Satanic holiday and other belief systems celebrate it as well, so it isn't considered solely a Satanic holiday. The point was made by FunK-3-FivE that people celebrate an occult holiday without knowing it depending on your opinion of occult. Is pagan occult? Is Satanism occult? Most people would say yes. So the only comparison would be that they're considered occult but by no means are they equal.

My question was actually directed at HERESY, but I myself have never grouped Paganism with the Occult and/or Satanism or Satanism with the Occult. Three different things, IMO.

Pagan = spiritual/religious beliefs and practices of a "natural” religion (Wicca, Astrau, etc.).

Satanism = Teachings of Anton Levay.

The Occult = "Evil" or dark supernatural forces not controlled by god (Majik, numerology, Ouija boards, Tarot cards, etc.).

That is my understanding of the terms, anways.

I suppose The Occult could be intertwined with Satanism but as far as I know LeVay was a Materialist and did not believe in supernatural forces.

My bad for jumping in on your question towards HERESY. Although your opinion of Paganism , Satanism , the Occult are all different , much of the general public who don't know better clump them all together and label them as Occult or Satanism in general.

i am pretty sure Anton Levy did believe in his power to heal..
maybe not in his early days..but i read a book somewhere ...that said he was telling people he could heal the sick..

maybe a mocking of Jesus?
im not really sure..

I would include Satanism as a occult myself..
as well as the other things mentioned..

That could be true about LaVey, but from what I’ve read about him he was an Atheist and a Materialist that focused on individuality. He taught that we are all our own gods. As far as his rituals and other weird shit, I don’t think he believed any of that. It was more of a gimmick or symbolic way of saying “fuck you” to the rest of religions.

I did fail to mention that there are other forms of Satanism besides LaVeyism. There definitely have been groups of people that worship the Christian Satan as a literal entity. There have been numerous Satanic cults throughout the world but these are so rare that I rarely think of the literal Satanists. Satanism to me is LaVeyism.
