im sorry, but wasnt it during Clinton's reign that the average salary of a black folk went up 4k/yr? i dont really get what your saying, i understand that your proud of being black but Obama's parents are from KENYA... hes a second generation immigrant.. not a very deep connection to what you consider "black".. when was the last time you been to africa?

also, if a black man votes for another black man to be in office just because he is black, thats racism and/or ignorance..
4k/yr, not in my area. It ain't about economic change and salaries, if that were the case, Clinton would be buy my people's vote for 4k a year. I'm 29 and have been to hoods all over this country, can't say they changed for the better over the Clinton years. Who the hell wants the Clinton administration all over again? Its about social change, a cultural change, and a change in perception of what black people can be. I'd rather have young people idolize the black president, more than the rappers and athletes.

Hillary Clinton: A Champion for Women

Haha

not a very deep connection to what you consider "black".. when was the last time you been to africa?

From what I feel Obama is blacker than me and he is half white! Being black is not based on how long you have been here. His grandma is in Kenya right now, he has been to Kenya, and considers him self african. Maybe its us over here who should not be considered black. Black is not an American thing, Pan-Africanism: google it.

also, if a black man votes for another black man to be in office just because he is black, thats racism and/or ignorance..

If a man votes for his brother just because he is his brother, friend for a friend, gang member for another, democrat for another, what is that? This isn't about racism, that would be excluding someone because of their race.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines racism in the following manner:
The theory that distinctive human characteristics and abilities are determined by race.

That ain't what I'm doing. I'm voting to the candidate who can relate to the have-nots in this world more than any other. The immigrants, the bi-racial, the black, the africans, those that are discriminated against. If he got in office and turned on everyone, so be it. But lets elect a leader, whose very election is a large change. Don't be afraid of what changes the black man will bring, trust in it.

obama's campaign is aimed at the middle class, just cuz hes black doesnt mean that hes going to give handouts to people because they are black... "if im elected every, black man will receive what he was promised: 40 acres and a caddy on dubs"
obama's campaign is aimed at the middle class

Who's campaign is not aimed at the middle class? Its the first issue on Hillary's site: Strengthening the Middle Class. In that section there is not one mention of poor or low income. At least Obama has a plan to help low-income workers.

thanks. I don't understand why no one has made a reality TV show starring Roger Mayweather, it would be a fuckin hit.

His quotes are legendary:

"The only reason they was able to make a Rocky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and mahfuckin 6 is cuz people believe in bullshit, but this aint gonna be no Rocky 7 cuz the real mahfucka gonna win"

Going with Obama. Not my first choice and I'm sure that money and globalization are still one of his top priorities so I'm not putting all of my faith into this man that he will radically change the world, but at least he's not a Republican.

the whole appeal of obama is that those things don't seem to be his priority. he is not your typical politician, although he is a great speaker. people really ought to be more excited about obama and the primaries in general - i don't think people are actually paying attention. we'll end up with another republican fuckwad in office if hilary is the made the candidate.
