An artist in LA designed a poster with Obama made to look like the Joker, which included a reference to socialism. We’ve got it here.
So far the artist has remained anonymous, but clearly they favor Heath Ledger’s version of the Joker over Jack Nicholson’s. The poster is a clear combination of President Obama and the Joker from The Dark Knight.
The Joker poster also has the word “socialism” printed prominently underneath the image. The unknown artist created the poster by combining the cover photo of Obama from the October 2006 issue of Time Magazine, with the face makeup from the Joker. The URL to Time’s website can still be seen above the president’s face.
The creations could be found in several different well-traveled parts of Los Angeles today. Most people who have spotted the Obama Joker Posters claim they were located near on ramps and underpasses in both LA and Hollywood.
The image of the poster first popped up when someone identified only as “Chris” snapped a picture of one, which ended up being posted on political commentator Tammy Bruce’s website.
After that it began to circulate the web, and eventually worked its way onto the Drudge Report.
