We should fire Walsh (give the job to John Shoop), put Shell in office and promote Rob Ryan to head coach before another team snatches him up.
yezzir!!

walters has NO VISION!! (see deer in headlights for example)

Tui is NOT the answer, because he hasnt seen any playing time, and Brooks is well.....Brooks.

I say give Brooks another shot at it, and see if he can do what we pay him to do......if he cant get it done, we take all three QB's and throw 'em off the Bay Bridge.

^Like he was when they played San Diego? Yeah Brooks should be in there. Walter has lost games for us this season (Cleveland, S.F., Denver). Brooks has more accuracy and has more awareness. It seems like Walter doesn't sense the rush coming. And about Walter being the future? He's not showing us why he should be the future. He makes good throws every now and then but he can't throw a TD pass in the second half. If he's blitzed, he's done.

Good QB's have good Offensive Line, same as Good DB's have a good Defensive Line. Also good QB's have good Offensive Coordinators.

Walter has to shoulder some of the blame for yesterday's loss. He's limited. No mobility at all. He can't throw on the run to save his life. There were times when he had time to throw and he overthrew receivers and missed Moss wide open heading for the TD.

what it thizz said:
if the raiders are keeping walters on as a long term quarterback he needs playing time, this season is already a loss so we should follow in the niners footsteps and get him some playing time and nfl experience, also brooks isnt any good and tui sucks too

Give Walters Time and i think he will do good Just give him the right guidance and Re-build the O line ........Get Rid of brooks unless he's going to help out the team and show Walters how to play......and oh yeah Killl AL:dead: LoL

I voted Aaron Brooks..... Althought I want Walter as the long term starte of this team... But with the way things been goin and the oline being iffy. .I would lyk to see if Brooks can give the offense a spark

I want this to be a serious discussion, there are plenty of threads to talk shit about the Raiders, but this isn't one of them.

So apparently Art Shell isn't sure who he's going to start next week, Andrew Walter or Aaron Brooks. Personally, I don't think the QB situation is as big a deal as the horrible offensive line & the even worse play calling. Who would you rather have start? and do you think the QB's are to blame?
peyton would look like leaf in oakland. thats painfully obvious to anyone who knows football. if brooks had time to throw he is a good match for moss. they would have connected on many bombs by nowwith a fair amount of protection. how many times was he sacked the first game? 9 times? thats UNREAL if you keep in mind brooks is a mobile qb. i think he should start when he's completely healthy.

Peyton is a good qb, but he has one of the best offensive lines in football, the amount of time he gets to throw is unreal....same with tom fucking brady....

This was cut and pasted from an article. Walter's blew it. Art is mad because he's pointing the finger at Walsh. Check this out fellas.

Back at Raiders headquarters in Alameda, Shell rebuked Walter's comments.

"There's freedom of speech," Shell said, "but make sure when you say things that you know what you're talking about and you're accountable also."

Walter was supposed to be in shotgun formation -- which was added to the offense specifically for him after he expressed a preference for it -- on the Raiders' last offensive play, on which he fumbled from under center, sealing their defeat.

Shell said he didn't know why Walter wasn't in the proper formation. He added that the Raiders' playbook is not short of plays after Walter criticized its simplicity.

"We've taken things out of the playbook because of individuals being able to handle certain things," Shell said. "There's a lot of depth in that playbook. This playbook is no different from any other playbook around this league. We do a lot of the same things other people do."

What a dumbass...

And when he does scramble he can't throw on the run. He tried and threw a low as pass that hit Randal Williams' feet. So how could Tom Walsh call roll out passes if Walter can't roll out and pass?
