The Oakland Banshees are a member of the IWFL (Independent Women's Football League) and our first home game is finally here. Come check us out and see what women's tackle football is all about. (Yes, it's full contact, tackle football with NFL rules) I guarantee you'll be blown away! Kick off is at 1:00 pm this Saturday the 17th at Burrell Field in San Leandro vs. San Diego. Adult admission is only $10 and kids under 11 get in for free.

This is my first season, I'm a LB & WR. We had our first game 2 weeks ago in Long Beach and we wooped 'em 47-0 :dead:

i worked with a girl that played on the s.f. team...think they were call the stingers?..or the stingrays...something like that

is this oakland first year having a team?

damn i didnt even know they had girls football, that shit is crazy, if i'm ever in cali or anywhere where they have that shit i'll have to go hit up one of the games and see this for myself.

Oh yeah my bad, I didn't see that. And the raiders got a good draft position because there the 2nd worst team in the league. Acually the worst because the 1st pick chargers whooped they ass. So all the raider fans have no reason to talk about n-e other team.

The league actually got teams all over the US. I don't know where you from but check out the league website for the rest of the teams
