yea you guys beat a team that was 1 for 19 with runners in scoring position ( in the regular season they were 2nd in the AL) Basically you guys beat a team that played like shit, the worst baseball theyve ever played. you guys are lucky they got into that three game slump...but give them props, the were 12 1/2 games behind first place at point. pretty impressive. anyway congrats, i guess. even tho im a Giants fan, you guys got the job done....finally.

If the Tigers win the series, the A's get home field advantage (Wild Card team never gets it, no matter what the records are.)

If the Yankees win, they get home field advantage because they won their division AND have a better regular season record than the A's.

Man the analysts for ESPN piss me off. They never give the A's any credit. It's always Yankees this, or Detroit that, Twins didn't do this...maybe because the A's are a solid team and had something to do with it?! I mean yesterday, after the series win I was watching Baseball Tonight and all they had to talk about was what Oakland should be concerned about most? The Yankees lineup or Detroit pitching?! I mean WTF?! Give the A's some type of credit for putting that series clinching 9 game losing streak to rest!! And get off the East coasts' nuts for once!!

the best way to win against any team is great pitching...A's have all the ingridients..Oh yeah dont forget to say how lucky we are fuck that luck just ask Derek Jeter about luck if Giambi only slid....
