Howdy folks,
how come all the pioneers/OGs in the rap game are still the ones receiving most of the limelight. For example, the most well known Bay artists like E-40, Keak, and San Quinn have been putting it down for many moons but now they're blowing up into the mainstream. Sure, some of the new rappers are also making hits but it seems like the old timers still hold most of the weight.
I'm an old Bay advocate. Old bay > new bay, although there are definitely good new bay shit too.
